Joseph Reps is a New York based agency representing nine photographers each specializing in Still Life, Advertising, Fashion, Beauty, Travel and Food photography.
I was commissioned to revamp the exisiting identity and create a new Black Book advertising series and promotional materials as well as a new website to showcase the work of their photographers. They wanted to create a typographic logo as well as an icon that could be used separately as a graphic. The owner whose name is Joseph is commonly known as "Joe" so I wanted to convey a personal touch by emphasizing the J and O as they are a small agency that has built up a strong following through their hands on service.
I was also asked to created a memorable launch party — inviting existing and new clients to take part in a design competition. Kid Robot 7 inch white Munny's were sent out as blank canvases to 25 select creatives and asked to be sent back "designed" in a theme of their own.
The competition was a huge success creating great publicity for Joesph Reps and some very creative Munny's. I also designed branded gift bags, mints and special edition t-shirts for the award party.
